Not even. They spent so much money to bolster their offense and haven't even barely scored 10 runs in 7 games. That's pathetic. What they should have got was a bullpen that is reliable. Clearly that lineup they had could score runs, but they've had a shitty bullpen for years...they just got by on it in 2006

Teams go through slumps, that does not mean that they made the wrong moves in the offseason. When, not if, they get back on track I'm sure all this crap is going to go away. It's stupid to judge the offseason decisions based on 7 games. Once the offense gets on track this team is going to be unstoppable. You watch.

Scott, I'd love to believe you, but they're going to lose a lot more games that people realize, based solely on the bullpen. I'm not a big nay-sayer usually, but that bullpen is just awful. I'm a sports junkie, and I've barely heard of half of their bullpen. And the ones I have, except Jones, are just laughing stocks (Grilli).

I'm not saying that their bullpen is the greatest, but I think it's manageable. I guess we'll see as the season progresses. I just think that they're gonna score a lot, a lot of runs when they get clicking. Hopefully enough that even a lackluster bullpen can't mess up.

It's so much different going through a slump mid-season than starting off 0-7, though. As minuscule as seven games are in the grand scheme of things, they're going to be fighting out of this whole for quite a while. They have absolutely no momentum to start the season with.
This supposedly great offense has scored just 15 runs in 7 games. And the entire pitching staff, not just the relievers, look awful. The Rockies have 16 runs in 8 games, yet they have 3 wins. The Tigers blow.
Go Twins!

I'm with you Scott. No matter how pissed I am that they are sucking it up right now, I think they will defiantly make a come back.
