Yeah, I blew it. It was early. That's what was exchanged between the sheets of two consenting adults. New Doughty is good, in case anyone cares. Not as good as Skittish or Haughty Melodic, but better than Golden Delicious.

Volcano Choir-Unmap. Really good, but I always have to start at track 1. (Not necessarily a bad thing.) I can't start in the middle because it's like one large sound experiment. Still, it's gonna be one of my favorites this year.
Drug Rug-The Kitchen Tapes/Drug Rug-Paint the Fence Invisible. Excellent. Just a lo-fi EP; 6 songs, 14 minutes, and a full length at about 31 minutes. Doesn't squeeze comfortably into any one genre, but it's somewhere between psychedelic roots rock and old timey country.
Yim Yames-Tribute To. Solid cover album. Jim James (My Morning Jacket) playing 6 George Harrison tunes. I've had an idea of how to play Long Long Long solo for a while, and was bummed that Jim James beat me to the punch, but ah well, it's great to hear.
Flaming Lips-Embryonic. If I can ever get myself to listen to this and really pay attention, I think I'll love it. Thusfar, I can't say I've really given it a chance.
