Alright, I've given Maladroit another listen (first time in probably 3 years or so) and I admit I was in the wrong. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than I thought it was. Slob is my favorite track. I think what threw me originally was the slow start to the cd and the heavy metal type riffs. Overall though, not a far cry from The Green Album, although it's not at the level of the first two LPs, in my mind at least.

Red sorta sucked, but I didn't like Green hardly at all, I actually think that was only about as good as Maladroit. Still Maladroit had it's Dope Nose, and Green had Hash Pipe. Haven't heard Pinkerton, I'm a little wary to try any new (for me) Weezer after Make Believe and the lame tracks on Red. Thing about Raditude, I already like the name of the album and some of the tracks... I like Weezer when they're happy, not when they're emotionally distraught and destitute. In short, I have a good feeling about Raditude.

Have you guys seen Video Capture Device? It's a very entertaining Weezer documentary. To get back to the thread topic, has anyone heard The Antlers album? I normally am not too into this kind of stuff but hospice is a pretty freakin good album, man

In short, I have a good feeling about Raditude. I'm the opposite. I like Weezer best when emotionally distraught. Weezer 96: I'm tired of meaningless relationships with girls that don't give a crap about me. I'd rather bang girls who write me fan letters, but alas! They're too young, and they live in Japan. Weezer 2000: I believe everyone who said our last album sucked, so I'm writing an album that is basically a poor man's blue album. That said, a poor man's blue album is still pretty awesome. Have you guys seen Video Capture Device? It's a very entertaining Weezer documentary. To get back to the thread topic, has anyone heard The Antlers album? The Contortionist - Apparition comes out today.
Great Progressive/Metal band with legitimate ambient parts. I NEED that CD based on the 2 songs they've put on there myspace. Oscillator is my favorite song right now, for real.

Ups and Downsizing rules really hard. I am also a big fan of the new Brand New, I like the direction they took it in.

The new Melvins album is awesome, all be it noisy as all hell. Its a remix album called Chickenswitch.
Also Trevor Dunn of Fantomas, Trio Convulsant, and Mr. Bungle fame has a new band called MadLove that I am enjoying. The album is called White With Foam.
