I missed a Children's Crusade.
GWFA played one of the best sets I've seen them do, if not the best. Well done guys. James sang part of With the Noises Off away from the mic, something I've wanted to do since I saw Ben Harper do it 2 and a half years ago.
Margot was pretty cool from what I saw. I was way, way too distracted by Eternal Sunshine playing on the Mac's TVs to watch their first half dozen songs, but then I stuck around for probably 3 more. I enjoyed myself, but they aren't quite my cup of tea. It was nice to see the big turnout for them though.

Thanks for the kind words, CJ! It means a lot!
A Children's Crusade was really really good. It was a perfect fit for them, and I hope people liked them a lot.
Margot wasn't the best I've seen them, but they are dealing with an almost entirely new lineup, so that's understandable. Plus, I'm sure they were pretty cramped up there. They still sounded amazing, and played a really nice mix of new and old stuff. I would have liked to have seen a little bit longer set, but that's the fanboy in me. They seem like really nice guys, too.
It was a really great night, and I'm honored to have been a part of it!
