I talked to a guy from Art Institute who was at my school a couple weeks ago trying to promote. One thing he said that intrigued me was that, By the time you graduate from our school you will have a professional job in graphic design( I assume the same goes for whatever field you pick, culinary arts, etc. It just so happened that I was talking about graphic design ). I don't know how true that is, but if so that would be awesome.

You have to watch out with that Aaron, they can get you a job in the field but don't expect it to be exactly the job you want. The graphic design field right now is so jam packed of people wanting the same jobs. Any reputable art school you go to will have connections in the industry and be able to help you find a job.

my old boss went to CCS and used to harass his super christian roommate by having pretend satanic rituals..you know...put red paper over the windows, light some candles, wear robes.....totally normal stuff.
just thought i'd throw that on the table. You never know who you'll meet there.....

yeah it is a ton of work, but if you're going for what you love its not bad. I'd rather stay up all night painting than than writing a paper.and spend all day in a screenprinting lab than a chemistry lab.

So, at this point I've toured both CCS and AI. I must say that I really disliked the Art Institute and most likely will choose CSS if I think my portfolio is up to par.
