Hey. I know there are a lot of people that check these boards that are into effects pedals. I, myself, am very into them. Let's all geek out over this stuff together.
What is everyone's favorite pedal that they own? What's on your wish list? What's you most recent acquisition?
The favorite pedal that I own is probably my Visual Sounds Jekyll and Hyde original make. It's just so good sounding. I just hate the enclosure. It makes it really difficult to use on a pedal board.
There are so many things on my wish list right now. I really would like to get a POG pretty soon. I also just read up on a new Visual Sounds Wah pedal that I really want to check out.
My most recent acquisition is a Moog Mooger Fooger MF-102 Ring Modulator. It is the most beautiful and most ugly sounding pedal all in one. It can go from rich and warm analog tremelo to squeaky, beepy, out of tune alien noises. I'm still figuring out how to use it to the best of my ability.

Excellent thread!
I'm still learning a lot about pedals, so as of right now my knowledge isn't all I'd like it to be.
My favorite pedal is also the first pedal I got, my Fulltone Full-Drive 2. I am in love with the overdrive sounds it gives me, and I can get some really nice heavier tones as well with the boost it has.
As of late, I've really been loving my ProCo Rat 2. I had mixed feelings about it at first, but it gets some really great distortion sounds when I have some big time reverb going.
The most recent pedal I got was an Akai Head Rush E2. I got it for it's looping capabilities, but it also has echo and delay effects. I haven't toyed around with it too much, which is sad, but I'm really excited to learn more about it.
I don't really have any specific pedals in mind as far as a wishlist goes, but I do want to upgrade my delay pedal, look at getting another reverb pedal, and I'd like to try out some pedals and see how they could help my sound. I'm thinking tremelo and fuzz, mostly.
Can't wait to hear more from people!

Closely followed by the seemingly unusable Zvex fuzz factory, then your reverb pedal, then your whammy. But we're all forgetting the real hero here...
...the Tuning pedal, without which, we'd all be in shambles.

My current favorite pedal is my Boss SD-1 overdrive. It's great for a light crunch/boost, and I want to send it to Keeley for mods. He adds some more gain, more definition and a toggle switch for two separate modes.
I'm a sucker for a good overdrive and I wanna try as many as I can. I'd love to get my hands on one of the original DOD Preamp/Overdrive pedals (Aaron Marsh swears by it) or perhaps a Fulldrive 2.
My wish list is pretty long these days. Right now I'm getting by with my SD-1 and a DD-3 delay. I really need a reverb, and I wanna try the new Electro-Harmonix Cathedral, mainly because it has an infinite reverb feature that I can picture fiddling with for hours. I'd also like a DL4 at some point, since GWFA is so delay-heavy.

DL-4 was my latest pedal purchase joe, i love it, i just have not found the right use for it yet. I also have been looking at the Electro-Harmonix Cathedral pedal, I want a killer reverb pedal as well, i currently use the boss fender 65 reverb pedal which is cool but it adds a little crunch to the guitar.

I love pedals. A lot. My absolute favorite is my Boss PS3 Pitch Shifter/Delay. Its an odd pedal capable of arpeggiating, ring modulation, pitch bends, delay up to 2 seconds, glitches and chorusing. It combines well with delay from my Boss DD3. A lot of the ambience in our music is that combo.
I am also a lover of distortion. My favorite distortion pedal I own is a Fulltone OCD. It provides plenty of grit and is very touch sensitive. I love running it into my Way Huge Swollen Pickle. Which is like a Big Muff on roids.
My pedal board at the moment is A digitech Whammy 4, Electro Harmonix LPB1 Boost, Fulltone OCD, Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz, Digitech Bass Synth Wah, Boss PS3, Boss DD3, Korg Pitchblack tuner, Akai HEadrush E1 Delay/Looper. Sometimes I pop an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb at the very end.
My next purchase will be an Electro Harmonix Memory Boy, because analog delays are fun.
I also plan to start building pedals. My first will most likely be a clone of a Triangle Muff.
I have owned countless pedals.

So much overdrive love. I love seeing this. I own five overdrive pedals myself so it definitely is something I love. I find myself using my Gearmanndude Luther Drive the most out of them all. Anyone watch Gearmanndude's video reviews??

Gearmanndude is king. And not Jack Black.
I'm glad I didn't check this for a few days and came back to find this thread. It excites me.
My favorite pedal, despite what a HUGE pain in the ass it has been to me, is my Line 6 DL-4. Out of the factory, it is full of problems (sometimes). However, switch out the switches, and you've up'd it a good amount from what I read. It gives you endless possibilities.
Some pedals I'm dying to get are (as simple as it is) a VP JR., and an RE-20. In the wildest world, of course, would be a Klon Centaur. Those things are the undisputed king. I would love to own a Fulltone Full Drive Two. Also, I've been wetting myself over a POG2 as well. Those things are sweet. Before too long I'm hoping to get a Fulltone SupaTrem, too. I have been looking into the TC Electronics delay, too. I can't remember the model in particular off hand, but it has a lot of sweet options with it.
I have a Boss BD-2 that I'm not nuts about. Boss can be good, but every pedal of theirs I've dealt with just didn't do it for me. The BD-2 has crapped out on me and caused all sorts of issue. The compression/sustainer of theirs I had was sweet, but just didn't have what I was looking for. I replaced that with an Electro Harmonix Linear Power Booster, which I absolutely love (and it's only $39!) so I think I just can't fall too hard for even the cool Boss pedals.
Though, admittedly, the Giga Delay is kind of cool. And, as I mentioned before, the RE-20, which I want REALLY bad.

I've only caught a few gearmanndude videos, mostly stuff that Scott has shown me. But I will definitely be on the lookout from now on when looking at videos!
Also, I just watched a POG2 video. WANT SO BAD.
